Responsibilities
- Assist with weekend inventory management: Conduct cycle counts and maintain accurate stock levels in the warehouse management system.
- Support warehouse operations: Help organize incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure efficiency and safety compliance.
- Data Entry & Reporting: Update digital logs, track shipment statuses, and generate basic weekly reports.
- Customer Service Liaison: Answer inquiries from internal departments regarding logistics timelines and inventory status.
- Process Improvement: Identify potential bottlenecks in weekend workflows and suggest actionable solutions.
- Equipment Maintenance: Assist in the routine cleaning and maintenance of warehouse equipment and tools.
Qualifications
- Education: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree program in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekend shifts (Friday–Sunday) consistently.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and comfortable learning new software quickly.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with team members.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods as needed in the warehouse setting.
- Location: Must reside in or near Louisville, KY (with access to the Ohio border area).
