Responsibilities
- Keyword Research: Assist in identifying high-value keywords and analyzing competitor strategies to improve search rankings.
- Content Optimization: Support the team in optimizing web content for SEO, including meta tags and alt text.
- Analytics Reporting: Monitor website performance metrics and prepare weekly reports on traffic and engagement.
- Technical Support: Help maintain our CMS and ensure all digital assets are up to date.
- Market Research: Conduct research on industry trends and local SEO opportunities in the San Diego area.
Qualifications
- Education: Currently enrolled in or recently graduated with a degree in Marketing, Communications, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Skill Set: Basic understanding of HTML/CSS and a keen interest in SEO tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Ahrefs).
- Availability: Must be available to work a consistent weekend schedule (e.g., Saturday and Sunday).
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
