Responsibilities
- Develop 2026+ tech roadmaps by analyzing emerging trends in quantum computing, synthetic biology, and decentralized systems
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype and validate breakthrough innovations with $2M+ annual R&D budget
- Conduct competitive disruption analysis against Fortune 500 tech giants and stealth startups
- Present strategic foresight reports to the board and C-level executives quarterly
- Manage partnerships with MIT Media Lab, Singularity University, and government innovation initiatives
- Drive sustainability integration into all technological roadmaps aligning with UN SDGs
- Mentor junior strategists in future-casting methodologies and scenario planning
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Strategy, Futures Studies, or equivalent with 8+ years in tech innovation
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies (quantum/AI/biotech)
- Deep expertise in technology forecasting frameworks (e.g., Delphi method, horizon scanning)
- Experience with patent analysis and IP strategy for disruptive technologies
- Exceptional data storytelling skills using visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- Global network connections within Silicon Valley, EU tech hubs, and Asian innovation ecosystems
- Certification in Foresight Methodology or Technology & Innovation Management preferred
- Portfolio showcasing 3+ successful tech commercialization strategies
