- Design ethical frameworks for autonomous decision-making algorithms
- Present strategic briefings to C-suite and board members quarterly
- Manage $2M innovation budget for pilot programs and R&D partnerships
- Mentor junior strategists in future-proofing methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic tech planning with Fortune 500 or scale-up experience
- Expertise in exponential technologies (quantum, AI, synthetic biology)
- Published thought leadership in future-tech journals (e.g., Nature Futures)
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., WFS/CES) or equivalent
- Track record of launching products with 5+ year market vision
- PhD or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Proficiency in scenario planning tools (e.g., SIFT, STEEPLE)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ future-tech commercialization projects
