Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (2026-2030 horizon) to identify strategic opportunities and threats
- Develop scenario-based roadmaps for quantum-integrated systems and AI-driven autonomous solutions
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate futuristic concepts into product prototypes
- Build predictive models for market adoption of next-gen technologies (AR/VR, biotech, fusion energy)
- Present foresight findings to C-suite and Board of Directors with data-driven recommendations
- Partner with Engineering to validate technical feasibility of 2026-vision concepts
- Author annual 'Future State' whitepapers positioning company in emerging tech ecosystems
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years experience in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging tech research
- Proven track record of translating futuristic concepts into commercial products
- Expertise in trend analysis methodologies (horizon scanning, Delphi techniques)
- Deep knowledge of quantum computing, AGI safety, and sustainable tech frameworks
- Exceptional storytelling skills with ability to visualize complex future scenarios
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or patented innovations
- Experience working with C-suite in Fortune 500 or scale-up tech environments
