Responsibilities
- Architect 5-10 year innovation roadmaps aligning with 2026 technological inflection points
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing prototype solutions for quantum, bio, and AI domains
- Conduct horizon scanning and scenario planning for emerging technology disruptions
- Secure strategic partnerships with academic institutions and government innovation labs
- Present breakthrough concepts to C-suite executives and venture capital partners
- Maintain competitive intelligence through patent analysis and tech trend forecasting
- Drive ethical frameworks for next-generation human-machine interfaces
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech innovation or R&D leadership with 3+ years in strategic foresight
- Proven track record launching breakthrough products (min. $100M ARR impact)
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains: quantum, synthetic biology, or AGI
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies (PhD preferred)
- Published thought leadership in IEEE, Nature Futures, or similar venues
- Patent portfolio with min. 5 granted or pending innovations
- Experience securing federal SBIR/STTR grants or DARPA partnerships
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., CFTR) or equivalent
