- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies with 3-5 year market impact
- Present strategic technology forecasts to C-suite and external stakeholders
- Manage a $10M innovation portfolio with rigorous ROI analysis
- Build partnerships with leading research labs and academic institutions
- Mentor a team of 15+ researchers and innovation specialists
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership with Fortune 500 experience
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies (quantum/AI/biotech)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Published thought leadership in innovation management or futurism
- Expertise in technology forecasting methodologies (e.g., Delphi, scenario planning)
- Strong network within Silicon Valley tech ecosystem
- Proficiency in innovation KPI frameworks and portfolio management tools
- Experience leading teams of 15+ technical professionals
