Responsibilities
- Develop 3-5 year strategic roadmaps for emerging technologies (quantum, bio-convergence, metaverse)
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and engineering teams
- Conduct horizon scanning and competitive analysis for 2026+ market opportunities
- Architect ethical frameworks for autonomous systems and AI governance
- Present futuristic visions to stakeholders through immersive storytelling and data visualization
- Secure strategic partnerships with academic institutions and government labs
- Drive patent development for proprietary 2026-era technologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation or futurist roles within tech/consulting
- Proven track record of launching breakthrough technologies to market
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, AI ethics, neurotech, or climate tech
- Executive presence with experience presenting to C-suite and boards
- Advanced degree in relevant field (PhD preferred) or equivalent innovation credentials
- Published thought leadership on future trends (whitepapers, patents, keynotes)
- Proficiency in futures methodologies (scenario planning, Delphi, STEEP analysis)
