Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year strategic roadmaps for emerging tech adoption
- Lead innovation sprints with R&D and product teams
- Conduct horizon scanning across 15+ emerging domains
- Present foresight insights to executive boards and investors
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and startups
- Curate annual 'Future of X' thought leadership series
- Mentor teams in strategic innovation methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, R&D, or innovation leadership
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies (AI, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Proven track record of launching disruptive products/services
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Engineering, or Business
- Published thought leadership in tech/innovation forums
- Experience with scenario planning and trend analysis frameworks
- Strong network in Austin's tech innovation ecosystem
- Certification in strategic foresight preferred
