Responsibilities
- Analyze horizon-scan data from AI, biotech, quantum computing, and climate tech to map 2026+ scenarios
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks for executive decision-making and R&D prioritization
- Lead cross-functional workshops to embed future literacy into product development cycles
- Author white papers and thought leadership on disruptive trends and ethical implications
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, scientists, and industry pioneers
- Translate complex foresight outputs into actionable business strategies and innovation roadmaps
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Innovation, or equivalent
- 5+ years experience in futurism, R&D strategy, or emerging tech analysis
- Proven expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AGI, synthetic biology, quantum computing)
- Exceptional storytelling and visualization skills for complex future concepts
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or strategic innovation impact
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., from APF or University of Houston)
