Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify disruptive technologies and market shifts relevant to 2026
- Develop strategic frameworks for long-term product innovation aligned with emerging tech trajectories
- Lead cross-functional workshops to synthesize insights from R&D, data science, and market research
- Produce forward-looking whitepapers and thought leadership positioning our company as a future-ready innovator
- Advise executive leadership on technology adoption timelines and competitive positioning
- Build and maintain a network of futurists, technologists, and industry thought leaders
- Translate complex technical concepts into actionable business strategies
Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years in strategic planning, product innovation, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of anticipating technology trends (AI, biotech, quantum computing, etc.)
- Deep understanding of emerging technology ecosystems and their business implications
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize disparate data into coherent narratives
- Experience developing multi-year strategic roadmaps for tech-forward organizations
- Strong presentation and storytelling skills for executive and stakeholder audiences
- Advanced degree in technology, business, or social sciences preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating futurist analysis or strategic foresight work required
