Responsibilities
- Analyze global tech, economic, and societal trends to map 5-10 year innovation horizons
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for disruptive technologies (quantum computing, neuro interfaces, etc.)
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align teams on future-facing product roadmaps
- Produce high-impact foresight reports and executive presentations
- Identify emerging risks and opportunities in nascent markets
- Collaborate with R&D teams to prototype future-state solutions
- Advise leadership on strategic pivots and long-term portfolio decisions
Qualifications
- 7+ years in strategy, innovation consulting, or futurism roles
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, biotech, climate tech, etc.)
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial outcomes
- Exceptional storytelling and executive communication skills
- Advanced degree in relevant field (preferred: Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, MBA)
- Published thought leadership in foresight or innovation journals
- Experience with horizon scanning methodologies (Delphi, STEEP analysis)
- Portfolio demonstrating future-focused projects
