Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain comprehensive trend-scanning frameworks for 2026+ horizon
- Produce quarterly strategic briefings for executive leadership on emerging disruptions
- Lead scenario-planning workshops with engineering, product, and marketing teams
- Identify and validate high-impact investment opportunities in frontier technologies
- Collaborate with R&D to prototype future-facing business models
- Present findings at industry conferences and publish thought leadership
- Mentor junior futurists and build internal foresight capabilities
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or equivalent research role
- Proven expertise in horizon scanning and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional data synthesis skills with ability to translate insights into narratives
- Experience facilitating executive workshops and stakeholder alignment
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or strategic frameworks
- Fluency in strategic foresight tools (e.g., Delphi method, STEEP analysis)
