Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify and validate emerging technologies, societal shifts, and market disruptions relevant to 2026
- Develop and publish annual 'Future State' reports with data-driven scenarios and strategic recommendations
- Partner with product and engineering teams to integrate foresight insights into R&D roadmaps
- Design and facilitate executive workshops on future-proofing strategies and risk mitigation
- Establish thought leadership through whitepapers, speaking engagements, and industry forums
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, academics, and innovation pioneers
- Quantify strategic opportunities through market modeling and competitive analysis
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years in strategy consulting, corporate innovation, or futurism roles
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-oriented strategies
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging domains: AI ethics, quantum computing, biotech convergence, or climate tech
- Exceptional data storytelling skills with proficiency in visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- Certified Futurist (CF) or equivalent advanced degree in foresight methodology
- Experience presenting to C-level executives and boards across Fortune 500 companies
- Portfolio demonstrating scenario planning projects with measurable outcomes
