- Develop strategic foresight frameworks for C-suite decision-making
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints translating foresight into prototypes
- Author white papers and keynote presentations on future scenarios
- Partner with R&D to accelerate commercialization of breakthrough innovations
- Build scenario models for geopolitical/regulatory disruption impacts
- Mentor junior futurists in advanced trend synthesis methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy consulting, futures research, or innovation leadership
- Published thought leadership on disruptive technologies (AI, quantum, biotech)
- Expertise in trend synthesis using horizon scanning and Delphi methods
- Proven track record of converting foresight into commercial ventures
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Economics, or Systems Engineering
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., CFPC) preferred
- Portfolio of 3+ future scenarios implemented in Fortune 500 companies
- Exceptional storytelling skills for complex concepts to diverse audiences
