Responsibilities
- Analyze horizon-scan data from 50+ global research institutions to identify disruptive 2026-2030 trends
- Develop strategic roadmaps for emerging tech integration (quantum AI, neuro-interfaces, climate tech)
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, design, and venture capital teams
- Present future scenarios to Fortune 100 clients and C-suite stakeholders
- Build proprietary forecasting models using proprietary Horizon Analytics platform
- Mentor junior futurists in trend synthesis and scenario planning methodologies
- Drive thought leadership through white papers, keynote speeches, and industry forums
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years experience in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging tech
- Published portfolio of trend analysis or scenario planning projects
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, space tech, or decentralized systems
- Proficiency in forecasting tools (e.g., Delphi method, cross-impact matrix analysis)
- Proven ability to translate complex technical concepts for executive audiences
- Experience securing $1M+ innovation grants or venture funding
- Active membership in Association of Professional Futurists or equivalent
