Responsibilities
- Analyze and synthesize global tech trends across AI, biotech, quantum computing, and space exploration to map 2026+ scenarios
- Develop strategic blueprints for exponential technologies with societal impact assessments
- Lead cross-disciplinary workshops to forecast market disruptions and identify white-space opportunities
- Author thought leadership publications and policy briefs for government and industry stakeholders
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype solutions for 2030+ challenges (climate resilience, neural interfaces, etc.)
- Mentor junior futurists and build an internal foresight intelligence network
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or advanced R&D leadership
- Published work on exponential technologies or future studies (peer-reviewed or industry)
- Expertise in scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of emerging tech stacks (quantum, AGI, synthetic biology)
- Proven track record influencing C-suite decisions on long-term tech strategy
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or equivalent field
- Portfolio demonstrating 5+ future-shaping initiatives implemented
