Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon-scanning research across AI, biotech, climate resilience, and quantum computing domains
- Develop 2026 strategic roadmaps for product development and market positioning
- Lead cross-functional workshops to synthesize foresight insights into actionable initiatives
- Author annual Future State Briefings for executive stakeholders and board members
- Establish innovation partnerships with academic institutions and research labs
- Monitor geopolitical and socioeconomic indicators to identify emerging opportunities/threats
- Mentor junior strategists in futures methodology and trend analysis frameworks
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related quantitative field
- Minimum 8 years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of predicting market shifts with documented case studies
- Expertise in scenario planning, Delphi methodology, and trend impact analysis
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies and their societal implications
- Exceptional storytelling skills with executive-level presentation experience
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., APF, WFS) or equivalent research credentials
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed futures journals or industry publications
