Responsibilities
- Design and implement hybrid quantum-classical AI algorithms for real-world applications
- Lead cross-disciplinary teams of physicists, computer scientists, and engineers
- Develop error-corrected quantum computing protocols for large-scale ML models
- Secure $2-5M in research grants from NSF and DARPA
- Publish breakthrough findings in Nature/Science journals
- Collaborate with MIT and Stanford on quantum-entangled neural networks
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum machine learning
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, AI, or Physics from top-tier institution
- 5+ years experience in quantum algorithm development
- Published research in quantum machine learning (minimum 3 Nature papers)
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or similar quantum frameworks
- Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, and PyTorch
- Demonstrated success securing government research funding
- Experience leading R&D teams of 10+ scientists
