Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and translate insights into strategic roadmaps for 2026+
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align leadership on future scenarios and risk mitigation
- Develop predictive models for market disruptions and competitive positioning
- Partner with R&D to prototype next-gen solutions with 3-5 year commercialization horizons
- Author whitepapers and thought leadership frameworks for industry adoption
- Advise C-suite on long-term portfolio diversification and innovation investments
- Monitor geopolitical/regulatory shifts impacting future business landscapes
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futurism, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategy consulting or corporate innovation with demonstrable 2020+ impact
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Proficiency in predictive modeling tools (e.g., Palisade, @RISK) and data visualization
- Published thought leadership in futurism/tech strategy (IEEE, HBR, etc.)
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (nanotech, AGI, neuro interfaces)
- Experience with S&P 500 or Fortune 100 strategic planning processes
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., AC/FS) or equivalent
