Responsibilities
- Lead multi-year horizon scanning initiatives to identify emerging technologies and societal trends impacting 2026
- Develop and publish annual 'Future State' reports with actionable strategic recommendations for executive leadership
- Design and facilitate innovation workshops with cross-functional teams to prototype 2026-ready solutions
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions, government agencies, and industry disruptors
- Create scenario-planning models for high-impact variables (AI ethics, climate tech, bioengineering)
- Advose product development teams on future-proofing roadmaps and R&D priorities
- Represent the company at global futurist forums and thought leadership summits
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futuristics, Technology Forecasting, Strategic Innovation, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology R&D leadership
- Proven track record of publishing trend analyses or future-state frameworks adopted by Fortune 500 companies
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI timelines)
- Exceptional systems thinking and scenario modeling capabilities
- Experience leading cross-functional teams through complex transformation initiatives
- Portfolio demonstrating 2026+ innovation projects or thought leadership publications
