Responsibilities
- Architect and execute 5-year innovation strategy for emerging technologies (AI, quantum, biotech)
- Lead cross-functional teams of 15+ engineers, designers, and researchers
- Secure $5M+ annual R&D funding through stakeholder partnerships
- Launch 3+ market-defining products/services by 2026
- Establish industry thought leadership via patents, publications, and conferences
- Mentor talent pipeline and drive innovation culture across global offices
- Monitor competitive landscape and regulatory shifts affecting future tech
Qualifications
- 15+ years in tech innovation leadership, with 5+ in emerging tech
- Proven track record of launching successful future-focused products
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, AR/VR, or biotech
- Strong stakeholder management with Fortune 500 executives
- Published research or patents in future technology domains
- Strategic planning experience with $10M+ budgets
- Exceptional communication for translating complex concepts
