Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify disruptive technologies and market opportunities for 2026 and beyond
- Develop and execute strategic innovation roadmaps aligned with long-term business objectives
- Champion emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.) through pilot programs and proof-of-concepts
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to integrate innovation priorities into corporate strategy
- Build and lead cross-functional innovation teams to accelerate R&D cycles
- Secure strategic partnerships and funding for cutting-edge initiatives
- Present innovation frameworks and future scenarios to stakeholders and investors
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, R&D leadership, or futurist roles within tech-forward industries
- Proven track record of launching breakthrough products or services in emerging technology domains
- Deep expertise in at least two future-critical fields (AI/ML, quantum systems, synthetic biology, etc.)
- Exceptional strategic planning and scenario modeling capabilities
- Experience leading cross-functional teams in matrixed organizations
- Advanced degree in relevant field (MBA, MS in Technology, Engineering, or Futurism preferred)
- Strong network within innovation ecosystems and venture capital communities
