- Develop and execute 3-year innovation roadmaps for quantum computing applications
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen biotech solutions
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and research labs
- Conduct horizon-scanning for emerging technologies with 2026 commercialization potential
- Present innovation frameworks to C-suite executives and board members
- Manage $5M+ annual R&D budget across 3-5 strategic initiatives
- Drive patent development and intellectual property strategy
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership
- PhD in Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- Proven track record scaling innovations from concept to market
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, biotech, etc.)
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation management
- Strong financial modeling and business acumen
- Exceptional communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience with international regulatory frameworks for emerging tech
