Responsibilities
- Architect 5-year innovation roadmaps for emerging technologies (2026-2031)
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum-AI hybrid solutions
- Conduct horizon-scanning for disruptive trends in biotech and climate tech
- Develop patent portfolios for next-gen autonomous systems
- Collaborate with C-suite on ESG-integrated tech investment strategies
- Present future-state scenarios to Fortune 500 partners and policymakers
- Mentor junior futurists in ethical tech governance frameworks
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Futures, Systems Engineering, or related field
- 8+ years in R&D leadership with 3+ years in futurist/strategic planning
- Proven track record scaling experimental technologies to commercial viability
- Expertise in quantum computing architectures and generative AI ethics
- Published thought leadership on 4IR implications (IEEE, Nature Futures)
- Certification in Technology Foresight (WFS, APF) or equivalent
- Portfolio demonstrating at least 3 commercialized innovations
- Security clearance eligibility for government-contract projects
