Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 2026-era technology roadmaps for AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping disruptive solutions for Fortune 500 partners
- Present strategic foresight reports to C-suite executives and government innovation councils
- Curate and mentor an internal 'Future Think Tank' of PhD researchers
- Secure $5M+ annual R&D funding through grant proposals and industry partnerships
- Monitor global tech policy shifts and advise on regulatory compliance for emerging tech
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Physics, or related field with 8+ years in tech innovation
- Proven track record in scaling AI/quantum projects to commercial deployment
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (neuromorphic computing, synthetic biology, etc.)
- Exceptional ability to translate complex technical concepts for executive audiences
- Published research in Nature, Science, or equivalent tier journals
- Security clearance for federal research initiatives preferred
- Fluency in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum programming frameworks
