Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a 5-year technology foresight strategy aligned with market evolution and company growth
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype and validate emerging technologies
- Produce annual '2026 Impact Reports' analyzing technological convergence points and disruption risks
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and tech pioneers
- Present technology roadmaps to investors, board members, and key stakeholders
- Mentor a dedicated innovation lab team of 8+ specialists
- Secure $5M+ in annual R&D funding through compelling value propositions
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy with 5+ in futurism or emerging tech roles
- Proven track record of launching products with 5+ year development cycles
- Deep expertise in at least three of: AI ethics, quantum computing, biotech convergence, or sustainable systems
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., from foresight organizations) or equivalent experience
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed tech journals or industry whitepapers
- Experience scaling teams from concept to commercialization
- MBA or advanced degree in Technology, Engineering, or Strategic Foresight
- Portfolio demonstrating technology scenario planning and disruption analysis
