Responsibilities
- Architect long-term technology roadmaps aligning with 2026 market predictions and industry disruption forecasts
- Lead R&D initiatives in quantum computing, AI ethics, and biotech integration
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with 5-10 year commercialization potential
- Develop strategic partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Present technology foresight frameworks to executive stakeholders and investors
- Establish governance frameworks for ethical AI deployment and responsible innovation
- Mentor emerging talent in future-focused technical domains
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in future-tech foresight roles
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies (quantum/AI/blockchain)
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Published thought leadership in IEEE Nature or similar tier-1 publications
- Deep expertise in regulatory frameworks for emerging tech (NIST, EU AI Act)
- Fluency in at least one quantum programming language (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Experience building innovation ecosystems within Fortune 500 organizations
