Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum computing, bio-integrated AI, neural interfaces) to inform product strategy
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with market disruption forecasts
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints prototyping 2026-viable solutions
- Partner with venture teams to identify and integrate disruptive startups
- Present strategic foresight reports to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Drive open-source initiatives accelerating industry-wide adoption
- Mentor junior futurists and lead tech ethics working groups
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech R&D with 5+ years in strategic foresight or innovation roles
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies (quantum/AI/bio-tech)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Published research on technological singularity implications or ethical AI
- Deep understanding of Web3, neuromorphic computing, and climate tech
- Exceptional systems thinking with ability to model complex tech ecosystems
- Certification in Futures Methodology (e.g., Horizon Scanning, Delphi Technique)
- Portfolio demonstrating at least three commercialized futuristic innovations
