Responsibilities
- Design and implement ethical AI governance frameworks for 2026 autonomous systems
- Conduct bias audits and risk assessments on machine learning models
- Develop stakeholder engagement protocols for AI transparency initiatives
- Lead cross-functional ethics committees with engineering and policy teams
- Research emerging ethical challenges in generative AI and biometric technologies
- Author industry standards for responsible AI deployment
- Mentor junior ethicists and ethics-focused engineers
Qualifications
- PhD in Ethics, Philosophy, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in AI ethics, responsible AI, or algorithmic governance
- Expertise in bias detection/mitigation techniques for ML systems
- Published work on AI ethics or policy (IEEE, ACM, or equivalent)
- Experience with regulatory frameworks (EU AI Act, NIST RMF)
- Strong background in quantitative data analysis and statistical methods
- Exceptional communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
