This role bridges cutting-edge AI research with human-centered design, ensuring our innovations advance society responsibly. You'll collaborate with quantum computing engineers, neuro-architects, and policy experts to develop governance protocols for generative AI, biometric integration, and metaverse ecosystems. Our Austin campus features a dedicated Ethics Sandbox where you'll prototype solutions for algorithmic bias mitigation and digital consciousness ethics.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement ethical governance frameworks for AGI and autonomous decision systems
- Lead cross-disciplinary workshops on quantum-AI ethics and biometric privacy protocols
- Develop predictive models for societal impact of emerging technologies (2026-2030)
- Partner with UN Digital Futures Council on global AI ethics standards
- Create audit protocols for generative AI content authenticity and neural interface safety
- Lead public consultations on metaverse governance and digital identity sovereignty
Qualifications
- PhD in Philosophy, Ethics, or Cognitive Science with AI specialization
- 5+ years developing ethical frameworks for autonomous systems or generative AI
- Published research on algorithmic bias mitigation or digital consciousness
- Experience with ISO/IEC 42071 and IEEE 7000 standards for AI ethics
- Deep knowledge of neuro-ethics and quantum computing implications
- Fluency in ethical programming languages (e.g., Coq, Agda)
- Proven track record advising Fortune 500 on responsible AI deployment
