Responsibilities
- Design and implement AI ethics frameworks for autonomous systems deployed by 2026
- Conduct bias audits and impact assessments on machine learning models
- Develop corporate governance policies for AI development lifecycle
- Collaborate with policymakers to shape emerging AI regulations
- Lead cross-functional ethics committees with engineering and product teams
- Research and publish on AI safety methodologies for next-gen systems
- Train stakeholders on ethical AI deployment best practices
Qualifications
- PhD in AI Ethics, Philosophy, or related field with 5+ years practical experience
- Published research on algorithmic bias mitigation or AI safety
- Expertise in regulatory frameworks (EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF)
- Experience auditing autonomous systems or high-stakes ML deployments
- Deep understanding of existential AI risks and mitigation strategies
- Proven ability to translate complex ethical concepts into engineering requirements
- Strong background in responsible AI development frameworks (FAIR, Asilomar)
