Responsibilities
- Develop and implement AI governance frameworks for autonomous systems and generative AI
- Conduct bias audits and risk assessments for AI models pre-deployment
- Lead cross-functional ethics committees with engineering, legal, and product teams
- Establish KPIs for ethical AI performance and compliance with evolving regulations
- Author public-facing transparency reports on AI decision-making processes
- Mentor junior data scientists on ethical AI development practices
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Ethics, Philosophy, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years in AI governance, responsible AI, or tech policy roles
- Published research on algorithmic bias or AI ethics frameworks
- Experience with EU AI Act and NIST AI Risk Management Framework
- Expertise in quantitative bias assessment tools (IBM Fairness 360, Aequitas)
- Strong stakeholder management across technical and non-technical audiences
