Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum circuit architectures for commercial applications
- Develop quantum error-correction protocols achieving >99.9% fidelity
- Optimize qubit coherence times and gate operations in superconducting systems
- Lead cross-functional teams integrating quantum-classical hybrid workflows
- Create quantum algorithms solving real-world optimization problems
- Establish security frameworks for quantum-resistant encryption systems
- Publish research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Mentor junior quantum engineers and interns
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS with 5+ years experience considered)
- 3+ years hands-on quantum computing architecture experience
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Demonstrated expertise in quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Strong background in superconducting qubit systems or ion trap technologies
- Published research in quantum algorithms or hardware optimization
