Responsibilities
- Design and audit AI systems for algorithmic bias, privacy risks, and ethical compliance
- Create governance frameworks for autonomous systems and generative AI tools
- Lead stakeholder workshops on AI ethics best practices and policy development
- Conduct scenario-based risk assessments for emerging AI applications
- Partner with engineering teams to implement ethical-by-design principles
- Monitor regulatory developments and adapt organizational strategies proactively
- Represent the company in ethics-focused industry forums and working groups
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Ethics, Philosophy, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years in AI governance, compliance, or ethical technology roles
- Expertise in bias detection techniques and fairness metrics for ML systems
- Familiarity with EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, and global ethical frameworks
- Strong background in data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA, etc.)
- Experience developing ethical AI policies for commercial products
- Exceptional communication skills for translating technical concepts
- Published work or thought leadership in AI ethics preferred
