Responsibilities
- Design and implement ethical governance frameworks for AI systems deployed in 2026+ environments
- Lead cross-functional ethics audits and risk assessments for emerging technologies
- Develop regulatory compliance strategies aligning with global AI standards (EU AI Act, NIST frameworks)
- Collaborate with product teams to embed ethical considerations throughout the development lifecycle
- Produce thought leadership publications and industry standards for responsible AI adoption
- Manage stakeholder engagement including policymakers, researchers, and civil society organizations
- Monitor evolving ethical challenges in quantum computing and neurotech domains
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Philosophy, Computer Science, Law, or related field with 5+ years AI ethics experience
- Proven track record developing enterprise-level AI governance frameworks
- Expertise in regulatory landscape (GDPR, AI Act, NIST RMF) and compliance methodologies
- Strong background in technical risk assessment and mitigation strategies
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Experience with AI model auditing tools and bias detection methodologies
- Published work in ethics journals or industry whitepapers preferred
- Knowledge of emerging technologies (quantum computing, neuromorphic chips) desirable
