Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel AI algorithms for natural language processing and computer vision applications
- Lead research initiatives in quantum machine learning and neural network optimization
- Collaborate with engineering teams to translate research into scalable production systems
- Publish findings in top-tier conferences and journals (NeurIPS, ICML, etc.)
- Mentor junior researchers and foster cross-functional innovation
- Develop ethical AI frameworks aligned with 2026 regulatory standards
- Secure external funding through NSF and DARPA grant applications
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of research experience with peer-reviewed publications
- Expertise in PyTorch/TensorFlow and distributed computing frameworks
- Strong mathematical background in linear algebra, calculus, and probability
- Proficiency with large-scale model training (LLMs, transformers)
- Experience with MLOps and deployment of production AI systems
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex research projects
- Passion for ethical AI development and responsible innovation
