Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel neural architectures for next-generation AI systems
- Lead research initiatives in quantum machine learning and neuromorphic computing
- Develop ethical AI frameworks for autonomous systems and human-AI collaboration
- Publish breakthrough research in Nature/Science journals and top-tier AI conferences
- Mentor PhD researchers and secure $5M+ in government/industry grants
- Transform theoretical models into production-ready solutions with 99.9% reliability
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, AI, or Quantum Computing (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of published research in top-tier venues (NeurIPS, ICML, etc.)
- Expertise in transformer architectures, reinforcement learning, and distributed ML
- Proficiency in PyTorch/TensorFlow and high-performance computing environments
- Track record of translating research into commercial applications
- Strong background in AI ethics and explainable AI frameworks
- Experience securing government research grants (NSF, DARPA)
