Responsibilities
- Conduct legislative research and policy analysis using government databases and academic resources
- Assist in preparing client briefings and stakeholder meeting materials
- Support event coordination for policy forums and industry conferences
- Monitor congressional hearings and regulatory updates for key developments
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on strategic initiatives
- Maintain accurate records of daily tasks and deliverables
- Participate in daily standup meetings and progress reviews
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in an accredited college/university (junior/senior year preferred)
- Strong research skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Interest in public policy, government relations, or nonprofit sectors
- Available for 20-30 hours per week (flexible scheduling)
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Basic knowledge of Capitol Hill procedures a plus
