Responsibilities
- Research federal legislation and regulatory developments
- Support stakeholder engagement with congressional offices and federal agencies
- Assist in drafting policy briefs and analytical memos
- Monitor congressional hearings and markups
- Contribute to coalition coordination efforts
- Manage social media content for policy initiatives
- Support event planning for policy forums
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled undergraduate or graduate student
- Strong research and analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Interest in public policy or government affairs
- Ability to work 20-30 hours/week
- US citizenship or permanent residency required
- Previous internship experience preferred
