Responsibilities
- Assist with SEO and Content Strategy: Conduct keyword research and help optimize website content to improve search engine rankings.
- Social Media Management: Monitor social media channels, engage with followers, and assist in scheduling posts.
- Data Analysis: Collect and analyze data to track campaign performance and prepare weekly reports.
- Market Research: Gather competitive intelligence and industry trends to support strategic decision-making.
- Project Support: Collaborate with the design and development teams to create marketing collateral and presentations.
- Event Coordination: Assist in organizing and executing local events in Long Beach to increase brand awareness.
Qualifications
- Education: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree program in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- Experience: No prior professional experience required; internship or volunteer experience is a plus.
- Skills: Basic understanding of digital marketing concepts, social media platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Reliability: Ability to commit to 15-20 hours per week for the duration of the internship.
- Location: Must reside in or willing to commute to Long Beach, CA.
