Responsibilities
- Code Development: Write clean, efficient, and scalable code under the guidance of senior engineers using languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript.
- Project Support: Assist in the design, development, and testing of software applications and web platforms.
- Collaboration: Participate in daily stand-ups, code reviews, and agile planning sessions to ensure project milestones are met.
- Problem Solving: Debug and troubleshoot software issues, documenting solutions to improve future development cycles.
- Research: Stay updated on emerging technologies, tools, and best practices in software engineering.
Qualifications
- Education: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
- Technical Skills: Basic understanding of at least one programming language and data structures.
- Tools: Familiarity with web development technologies (HTML, CSS) and version control systems (Git) is a strong plus.
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
- Availability: Must be available to work full-time or part-time during the Summer or Fall 2024 semester.
