Responsibilities

  • Assist senior developers in the design, development, and testing of software applications using modern programming languages.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the refinement of existing codebases to improve performance and scalability.
  • Conduct research on emerging technologies and industry trends to provide innovative solutions to the development team.
  • Debug and troubleshoot software issues, ensuring high-quality delivery of features.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Management and Quality Assurance, to define project requirements and timelines.
  • Document technical specifications and user stories to ensure clear communication across the organization.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Basic understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Familiarity with at least one programming language such as Python, Java, C#, or JavaScript.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to learn new technologies quickly.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Available to work a minimum of 20-30 hours per week during the Summer or Fall semester.
  • Reliable transportation to the Louisville, PA office.
