Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain microservices using Java/Spring Boot in AWS environment
- Implement RESTful APIs and optimize database queries with PostgreSQL
- Participate in Agile sprints with daily standups and sprint planning
- Write unit tests using JUnit and integrate with CI/CD pipelines
- Conduct code reviews and contribute to technical documentation
- Present project progress to engineering leadership bi-weekly
- Experiment with ML frameworks for data processing optimization
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing Bachelor's in CS, Engineering, or related field
- Strong proficiency in Java, Python, or C++
- Familiarity with Git, Docker, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP)
- Experience with SQL databases and RESTful APIs
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and Scrum frameworks
- Problem-solving skills demonstrated through hackathons or personal projects
- Authorization to work in the US for the full internship period
- Availability for 20+ hours/week through Fall 2024
