The Role:
As an Intern, you will support our development lifecycle, assist in code reviews, and contribute to feature implementation. We are looking for candidates who are eager to learn and possess a strong foundational knowledge of programming principles.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the design, development, and testing of software applications using modern programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript).
- Participate in daily stand-ups and sprint planning meetings to align on project goals.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code under the supervision of senior developers.
- Debug and troubleshoot software issues to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including UX/UI designers, product managers, and quality assurance testers.
- Contribute to technical documentation and code comments to facilitate knowledge sharing.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in software engineering.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree program in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Strong foundation in at least one programming language (Python, Java, C++, or C# preferred).
- Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software development life cycles (SDLC).
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a collaborative team environment.
- Availability to work a minimum of 15-20 hours per week, including some flexibility for project deadlines.
