Responsibilities
- Deploy and maintain network infrastructure including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Provide Tier 2 technical support for 500+ employees across 3 locations
- Assist in cybersecurity initiatives including vulnerability scanning and incident response
- Document IT procedures and create knowledge base articles
- Collaborate on cloud migration projects using AWS and Azure
- Participate in system upgrades and patch management cycles
- Conduct hardware/software audits and inventory management
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in Computer Science, IT, or related Bachelor's/Master's program
- Proficiency with Windows Server administration and Active Directory
- Basic knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, VLANs)
- Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware/Hyper-V)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- CompTIA A+ or Network+ certification preferred
- Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
