Responsibilities
- Design and architect next-generation systems for scalability, performance, and security
- Lead research and integration of emerging technologies including AI, quantum computing, and edge computing
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to align system architecture with business goals
- Develop and maintain system documentation, including architectural diagrams and specifications
- Stay ahead of industry trends and recommend innovative solutions to complex technical challenges
- Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices in system design and development
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; Master's or PhD preferred
- 10+ years of experience in system architecture, with a focus on large-scale distributed systems
- Proven expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies
- Strong background in AI/ML and quantum computing concepts is highly desirable
- Experience with microservices architecture, event-driven design, and DevOps practices
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically about future technology trends
- Strong communication skills and the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences
