Responsibilities
- Lead Research and Development efforts focused on the year 2026 and beyond, including AI, Quantum Computing, and sustainable energy tech.
- Define and execute the technical roadmap for long-term projects, ensuring alignment with company vision.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate futuristic technologies into current product lines.
- Identify potential risks and bottlenecks in future tech adoption and propose scalable solutions.
- Stay ahead of industry trends, patents, and breakthroughs relevant to the 2026 timeline.
- Mentor senior engineers and foster a culture of innovation and forward-thinking.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in software engineering, systems architecture, or technical strategy.
- Proven track record of leading teams through major technological transitions.
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies such as Machine Learning, Blockchain, or Spatial Computing.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate abstract future concepts into actionable engineering plans.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of presenting complex strategies to stakeholders and executives.
- Experience in the San Francisco Bay Area or willingness to relocate.
