Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with market trends and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions (quantum, AR/VR, biotech)
- Conduct horizon scanning for emerging technologies with commercial potential
- Architect ethical frameworks for AI and autonomous systems deployment
- Forge strategic partnerships with academic institutions and research labs
- Present technology forecasts to C-suite and investors
- Manage $5M+ innovation budget across experimental projects
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or venture capital
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, biotech, etc.)
- Proven track record of launching commercialized innovations
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Published research or patents in futuristic technologies
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting models
- Strong stakeholder management across technical and business domains
- Certification in innovation management (e.g., CIMP) preferred
