Responsibilities
- Develop 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligning with 2026 market projections and sustainability goals
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum computing, neuromorphic chips, synthetic biology) for commercial viability
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions with Fortune 500 partners
- Conduct scenario planning for regulatory and ethical implications of breakthrough technologies
- Present strategic insights to C-suite and investor stakeholders through compelling data visualizations
- Drive innovation sprints with MIT and Stanford research affiliates
- Establish KPI frameworks for measuring technology adoption impact
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years focused on emerging tech forecasting
- Proven track record of launching commercialized innovations from R&D to market
- Expertise in at least three of: AI governance, quantum applications, biotech convergence, or climate tech
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Futuristics (PhD preferred)
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry whitepapers
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies (Delphi, horizon scanning, scenario planning)
- Experience securing $5M+ in innovation grants or partnerships
- Portfolio demonstrating successful technology commercialization cycles
